Wellness Coaching
My personal definition of wellness: The ability to live life to the fullest, to have a zest for life, to maximize personal potential in a variety of ways.
WE OFFER COACHING AND WORKSHOPS TO HELP YOU LOOK AT AND DEVELOP VARIOUS AREAS OF YOUR LIFE
9 Areas of Wellness
- Exercise
- Diet, beauty and vitality
- Mental
- Social and Hobbies
- Relationships
- Career/Occupation
- Financial/Money
- Environment/Community
- Spiritual
1. Exercise
No need to flog a dead horse on this issue. We all have enough information on these benefits. From weight loss, to energy, to cardiovascular health, to just feeling great. There is no excuse not to exercise. Your body was designed to move. You owe it that. I have designed walk/run programs that can take your from complete inactivity to running a marathon - should you desire. Linked with Annika for Nordic Walking - which, in my opinion is the best form of walking. A full body workout which burns more calories. I can put a structured program together and with my online facility you can monitor your progress. See both http://www.humanFit.com.au and http://www.axesspoles.com.au.
2. Diet, Beauty & Vitality
Completely Human has an entire module on the website to address this module of your life.
3. Mental
If your brain dies - you die. Sweet and simple. It's a muscle that needs to be exercised. Unbeknown to you possibly, you're continually developing within yourself. You process internal and external information all the time. You do however need to "train" yourself to listen to AND to hear your own inner voices; this means the more effectively you can benefit and learn from your own experiences. Create your own awareness: How often are you thinking these thoughts? Are they negative or positive thoughts? Do these thoughts lead to action?
- Activity for week: Take on an observer status of your life. Watch your thoughts, behaviours, reactions and patterns. Be gentle on yourself - but have a look to see who is "out there" interacting with the world and who is "inside you".
- Keep your mind under the control of your soul.
- Keep a full heart rather than a full mind.
4. Social/Hobbies
Included here are friends and social activities. Find something that instills a passion in you. Follow it. Keep yourself interested in outside activities. Challenge yourself. Keep yourself exposed to new options and opportunities. You'll always learn from situation and from people. Fact.
5. Relationships
Your close relationships are more intimate than colleagues/acquaintances and can therefore bring you more reward and/or more pain. But common between the two "relationship" areas are that your emotions are unique to you. It's not the events around you that determine who you are, but rather your reactions to them. You choose how you handle your feelings.
- A good idea is to make appointments with your feelings. Allow them an outlet. Don't repress or deny them - give them the same kind of time and attention you would give anyone in a meeting.
- Exercise: Imagine a person you are jealous of or aggravated by at moment. Make list of what bugs you. When you see something in someone else, what you really want is to feel it inside yourself. Look at people who rankle you as mirrors.
- Let go of your need for approval and this will allow you to see yourself in others and your consciousness will escalate. You'll experience your relationships in an expanded state of awareness.Create a sense of equal to others and rather interact on that level.
6. Career
Definition of work (per Jeni Mumford) : The context in which you use your skills and talents in some way to give (and often) receive something of value, whether rmonetary, in kind, for your own satisfaction or as a duty of care.
Definition of career: (as per Jeni Mumford) You make choices that allow you to build on the skills and abilities you use at work so that you can take on bigger and more demanding roles
If you find your job is often on your mind after hours, the chances are that the "worry" is about money issues, boredom, a feeling of frustration or that something outside your control is pushing you.
The number one potential problem with a job is either not knowing what you want to do or not knowing what you're good at. The perfect job is one that keeps you fulfilled. Do you work to live or live to work?
Exercise to consider:
- What makes you happy at home?
- What makes you happy outside home?
- What gives you satisfaction in your current work?
- What's your best skill/trait?
- What's your worst skill/trait?
- What is the last thing in your life that gave you a huge sense of achievement?
- I received this as a "Message from the Universe" one day. (A daily inspiration I subscribe to)
What if the word "work" was changed to "dance-with- life" ? And instead of it being viewed as an alternative to fishing or a way of "paying your dues," it was seen as a chance to meet a parade of new friends, discover your own untested potentials and unpolished gifts, and open avenues for abundance to come pouring into your life?
7. Money
Stop worrying about money as this gives it an importance of its own. Rather deal with the matters around the money. Very often it is your own belief systems that stop you making money in the way you choose.
- Exercise: Define for yourself the difference between Money and Wealth.
- Write down each for yourself. Understand the difference.
- Focus on Wealth. Don't chase the money.
- What has to happen for you to feel "wealthy"?
8. Environment/Community
The more we give, the more we'll receive. We are a product of our environment and people will react to the way we are.
- Also includes charity work (money and/or time)

9. Spiritual
- What is this LIFE thing you have? (besides the bit between birth and death)
Living In Fulfilled Existence (L.I.F.E)
This means it carries an awesome individual responsibility with it.
So - make the best of it and live with purpose and meaning
Remember to leave a contribution to next generation:
- The undisputed reality is that everyone has a spiritual need. Some are fulfilled through organized religion and others choose to explore options on their own terms. Living is a spiritual act and
- Spirituality is defined as: Thoughts, beliefs or actions that give our lives its deepest meaning.
Completely Human can help you explore and nurture your own inner self combined with your external reality. By becoming whole, you'll realise and appreciate how perfect you are as an individual.
