Organising and running seminars, workshops and events, often has its rewarding moments. Sometimes, you get to experience a unique experience, pardon the pun. And if you can string along the moments at those experiences, the rewards are an experience in itself.

 

With absolutely, no expectation of and to say the least, what is Life Coaching through Creative Art, I decided to venture into an area, totally foreign to me. A fish out of water, would have been more at home.

 

What transpired, was an afternoon of fun, art for arts sake, paint for paints sake, akin to what i always say,  Music being an outlet of the mind. And this Life Coaching through Creative Art is akin to an outlet of the Soul.

 

The faciliator Heidi Cornelisen, of Completely Human, has this unique gift and style of drawing, literally and emotionally , your mind and soul out and expressed through Creative Art. One's aspirations, one's purpose, one's inner self,  one's expressive self from within onto canvas. 

 

My final piece of art, hangs in my study, a testimony of inner self expression, or rather, guided by a gifted, patient and unique Life Coach, gently leading you, explaining, to you, the creative purpose and process, step by step, with passion and a genuiness and sincere approach, so much so, she comes across like  a bridge, so to speak, from within you to final canvas, Absolutely, exciting, thought provoking and relaxing workshop.

 

I totally recommend anyone, who, whether, looking for a relaxing, distractive form of outlet,  from whatever,  afternoon, to self expression and venture with an open mind to Life Coaching through Creative Art   I challenge you to Try It.

I've attended 2 Creative Art & Life Coaching Workshops run by Jackie and Heidi in Roleystone. My experience with art has been limited; having to draw and paint during my school days almost put me off for life, so I was apprehensive when I arrived for the first workshop. However, it was friendly and fun right from the start. The workshops are a way of finding out more about yourself, discovering your creativity using paints and brushes, so helping you to create the life you want or would like to have. And, at the same time, making new friends. Jackie and Heidi's workshops are all about putting the fun back into creating art and finding yourself, and learning there are no mistakes. If you paint something and you don't like it, you just paint over the top of it - simple, really! Now, I'm eagerly awaiting my third visit. Give it a go.  I'm sure you'll enjoy the workshops.

 I gained a lot of positive insight into my life which I thought was in a negative state, with ageing parents and a mentally ill father who continues to create havoc with those associated with his affairs. Through the art therapy course I was able to put my life and the lives of others into perspective. I could see the path ahead and also the kind and loving people that surround me. I came home thinking more positively about my situation with the view to take each day with renewed vision,  that I am supported and already have the people resources and guidance that I need.
