Being Completely Human

The Completely Human Philosophy

“Be a life long or short, its completeness depends on what it was lived for”
David Starr Jordan

Do you sometimes feel that you're wandering along a path of trying to be ‘something’ or ‘somebody’ but you’re not really sure, who or what? Are you spinning your wheels trying to be okay with it all? .

You're preconditioned to be perfect only to feel disappointed when you realise that you're Only Human – but, ironically as you evolve, you learn that, that in itself can be perfection. Perfection comes with being complete. Complete within yourself. Complete in your interaction with the environment – And with others.

The knowledge that you’re perfectly complete doesn’t protect you from daily challenges, struggles, rewards and joys however. It makes you able to appreciate them instead. Also – importantly, you learn to absorb and appreciate that the journey from “Only Human” to “Completely Human” equates to a journey from limitation to glorious opportunity!

But – what do we mean by “completeness”? We believe you carry your own unique collection of "balloons" with you through life. Each balloon represents an area or need in your life, namely finances, career, love, friends, wellness (health & exercise), spiritual, family and community. As you naturally progress and get older, the quantity of balloons you keep aloft expands or intensifies. . Unless, of course you remain isolated or insulated!

Wonderfully, however, despite increasing the number of balloons - the original balloons don't become obsolete. The beauty of getting older and wiser incorporates the expansion and/or diversification of your human-ness into further needs: friends, career, spirituality, personal development. But, sadly, before you know it, you find yourself trying to juggle these precarious balloons above your head. To the extent that it feels like a constant struggle and you become tired and frustrated! You instinctively know you have to keep them equally aloft, if you want to remain on the ground and feel stable.

It’s therefore a challenge  to ensure that all your balloons are constantly flying high ensuring that overall balance is maintained. This is what we call being Perfectly Complete. And Completely Perfect.

Achieving the completeness you seek, namely being in touch- and well grounded with all your individual balloons is both a difficult art and discipline. You begin by acknowledging each balloon with its unique place in your life.

If you aren't aware of your balloons they will fly away from you. Or deflate and drop down.

What we hope to achieve through Completely Human, is to enable you to understand your personally created collection of balloons. And through happily balancing them above your head you'll develop into your realm of perfect completeness.
